Individualised lactation advice, using principles of Possums and co “Gestalt breastfeeding” approach to latch and position.
Face to face consultations include weight check and thorough medical examination of your baby; bringing the care of a medical practice to your home. Also includes follow up support via email or video Telehealth.

This package provides in-depth, individualised support with lactation/ breastfeeding, in the comfort of your own home, and with the reassurance of a detailed written management plan and a video telehealth follow up

Package inclusions:
Pre- visit questionnaire
Your 90 mins home visit includes a thorough medical examination of your baby (including a tongue tie assessment) and observation of a feed with hands on help to optimise latch and position.
After the appointment you will receive a personalised report that includes a summary of what we discussed, my recommended plan and links to relevant resources.
Package also includes a follow up video telehealth consultation <30 mins 1-2 weeks after home visit (additional follow up video telehealth consultations will incur an additional small out of pocket fee) .

This in -depth package is the Telehealth equivalent of the home visit package, and where possible/ relevant, it includes observation of a feed and real-time advice to optimise latch and position.

Your 60 mins video Telehealth appointment includes detailed history taking and where possible, observation of a feed with real-time advice to help optimise latch and position (ideally requires another adult to hold device camera).
After the appointment you will receive a personalised report that includes a summary of what we discussed, my recommended plan and links to relevant resources.
Package also includes a follow up video telehealth consultation <30 mins 1-2 weeks later (additional out of pocket fee applies if baby >12 months)

These appointments are more appropriate for older babies or simpler issues; for example, to discuss starting day care, transition to solids, weaning, advice about bottle feeding etc.
